Maxwell almost took the game away before Bumrah strikes, Dec 2,2020

India wins the toss and chooses to bat , Shubman Gill(33 of 39) and Shikar Dhawan(16 of 27) both fall pretty early and keep Indias hopes of defendable doubtful. Kohli (63 of 78) plays cautiously while he watches his team mates Shreyas (19 of 21) and KL Rahul (5 of 11) without much contribution to the game.

Hardik Pandya(92 of 76) and Jadeja’s (66 of 50) both have put up a great show to propel the score from projected 275 to a defendable 302. Hardik and Jadeja steal the show with an extra ordinary knock cracking the Australian bowlers who till then have really kept good control on the field.

On a given day 302 is not enough score ,however India should be be happy to have posted such a score for such a disastrous batting performance.

Australian bowlers Zampa, Agar ,Green and Hazelwood all have done well except the last few overs.

India started off with an aggressive bowling attack with few new faces like Natarajan ,Shardul thakur and Kuldeep Yadav which played off well at the end. Both Natarajan and Shardul getting good wickets. I guess India did not have nothing to loose as they already have lost the series , and given opportunity to new comers which kept an element of surprise for Australians and paid off India’s way on this day. At other end Australia had nothing to loose as they have already won the series and had new faces Moises, Green and Moving Labuchagne up the order and I guess both Moises and Green look promising in their technique.

Finch managed to get 75 of 82 , and Maxwell almost took the game away before he fell off Bumrah’s yorker. I guess for Australia it is disappointing to have missed a clean sweep with just less than 15 runs, for India it is a moral victory and for Indian fans to something to cheer. Well it was thrilling to the last wicket, it could have gone either way.

Looks like India is close to getting their team right finally and Cheers for the victory!!!
